Produced for Manchester City as part of City’s 125th anniversary celebrations, I produced a must-have piece of art depicting as many moments from the clubs rich history as possible.
I was commissioned in November 2018 and after over 1,500 hours of painstaking work it is finally finished.
The design is all down to Alex, but he worked closely with club staff, noted Manchester football historian Gary James and you, the fans, to help make sure everything is covered.
Some of those etched into City folklore have spotted themselves in the artwork, including former Blues forward Paul Dickov, famous for THAT play-off final equaliser back in 1999.
He said of the mishmash: “This is probably one of the most amazing pieces of sport art that I’ve seen. So many things to look at, so many memories coming back and not just from when I played.
“The history of the club is all in one picture and to be able to be a part of it is just amazing.
